Rebuilt: strength training for the next chapter.
Learn to lift well, feel at home in any gym, and build the kind of strength that matters more every year — especially once the diets that used to work stop working.
Hi, I'm Ayako.
Most of the women I train are in their 40s and 50s, navigating one of the biggest transitions of their lives — wanting their bodies to feel like an asset through it, not an obstacle. But the number matters less than the experience: if your body has stopped responding the way it used to, you're exactly who this is for. My clients usually come to me nervous about the gym, tired of diets that used to work and don't anymore, and just not feeling like themselves.
Let's be honest about the scale: most of us care about that number, myself included. It's information — a read on where things are with nutrition and life right now. Caring about it isn't the same as obsessing over it. So if losing weight is part of why you're here, that's real — it doesn't need to be justified. It's just not the whole plan. Muscle, bone, power, speed — those get less optional every year, and that's the part I won't compromise on.
What I want most is for you to walk into any gym, anywhere, and know that you belong there. To take up space without apologizing for it. And in our sessions, to be the person being taken care of — we'll talk about food, sleep, stress, whatever's going on at home, because none of it happens in isolation.
If you're a mom, your kids are watching. They'll see you get stronger, and they'll grow up thinking that's just what women do.
Lift, flow, nourish — always together.
The training
Learning to move well — squat, hinge, push, pull, carry — with whatever's in front of you. Barbell, dumbbells, or nothing at all. No equipment is a prerequisite, and the load follows how your week is actually going.
The conversation
The part that happens mid-set and after — food, sleep, stress, whatever's going on at home. This hour is yours, and it's where you start trusting yourself again.
The fuel
Eating in a way that holds you up instead of wearing you down — protein, satiety, steady energy. Rebuilding trust with food, not another restriction to white-knuckle through.
This is for you if —
- You're new to lifting, or nervous about walking into a gym on your own
- You've dieted before and it's stopped working the way it used to
- You're feeling sluggish, foggy, or just not quite like yourself
- You want to lose weight — and you also want to be genuinely strong
- You're ready to make yourself a priority, without guilt about it
Ways to work together
Individual training
Fully personalized sessions, in person, built around your goals, your schedule, and whatever equipment we have access to.
Let's start.
